In the last year or so I have heard that some police departments are turning away from pistols chambered in .40 S&W or .357 SIG because the pistols they are using are shooting themselves apart in those calibers.
I have a Sig P239 in .40 S&W and am thinking about getting a .357 barrel for it. It appears to be very well made. Better made than most. How well do you think it would hold up to lots of hot rounds through it?
