However I have zero, zip, nada 22LR. 38 Special is not too far behind.
Im okay on everything else, (22mag, 380acp, 9mm, 40sw, 10mm, 357mag, 45acp, 10mm, 44mag) although I did go a little hog wild with a new 1911 and had to slow my roll.
ETA: Left out rifle and shotgun ammo as I am mainly shooting pistols these days, so my stash remains untouched.
The one thing I cannot wrap my head around is the .22 LR shortage!
CCI Alone claims to produce 4 million rounds per day of .22
Leaving December out of the picture and weekends too!
That is approximately 352,000,000 .22
316,668,567 estimated 2013 Population of US
I know that is less than 1 round a piece, but this only 1 manufacture!
And in 12 months they will have theoretically produced
1,056,000,000 rounds at one place
There is more to this shortage than we really want to know!
Employees that work at places where ammo is sold, their friends and hoarders that put it in closets or sell it for profit. That's what I keep thinking about 22LR and 9mm. Where is it all going???
So you haven't shot the gun in 3 years and the group you shot was the best that you had shot in years? How could it not have been?i know its good to practice and such but i walked out with my fav revolver yesterday and shot a better group than i had in years.hadnt shot that gun for at least 3 years.
