I think this incident clearly illuminates why marriage should be banned. This is always happening to married couples. If it's not guns, it's frying pans and fists. Marriage is clearly a bad idea.

Amen, If they were truly in love, they wouldn't need a legal contract that says so.

Well, for starters . . .

I think this incident clearly illuminates why it's a bad idea to give birth to male children. They're always doing stuff like that.

I think this incident clearly illuminates why no one should be allowed to conduct his life without constant medical supervision. Any time you allow individuals (or couples, in this instance) to run around, indiscriminately living life, bad things happen. A psychologist should be appointed to every marriage. Later, when we have enough psychologists, we should assign one to each individual. Uncontrolled people just screw things up. We need to get better human controls in place.

Shall I go on?

lol. Very nice. :]

Shooting it out with your significant other on your driveway is not the generally approved upon method of dispute resolution. :(

Everybody loses on this one. Decedent, husband, and pro 2A folk.

Let's see, he doesn't have the crazy wife that was willing to shoot him anymore, he didn't have to spend thousands on a divorce to do it, and she couldn't take out a false restraining order during the divorce that would have disarmed him.

I really don't see how he is losing in this situation

Losing?

I really don't see how he is losing in this situation
Well, maybe.

Any word from the DA on this?

'Cuz, if it goes to prosecution, and if his defense sux, there's always prison.

That may not be "losing" to some, but I think I'd have a tough time with it.
