Conwict - Not a bit of it - it's all part of the discussion! I was reluctant to post this initially after reading a thread a while back where a gentleman from South Africa, I think, was repeatedly accused of lying when he posted about an encounter in which he fought off some heavily armed thugs while only armed with a small subcompact pistol. He ended up producing documentary evidence to verify his story. That sucked in my opinion after what the man went through and I didn't feel like subjecting myself to the same treatment.
It has been quite the opposite, actually, with a lot more supportive feedback than I ever expected, so forgive me if I over reacted to your post.
Shephard19, it's not quite that way down here. It is easier for a business/property owner to show a need for a firearm permit, but it is by no means restricted to the upper class. People from all walks of life are issued permits once they show that their profession, circumstances or lifestyle places them at an elevated risk of robbery or assault. It is a flawed and subjective system but it is not class-based.
