I can't believe our laws!

Don't blame the politicians, blame the electorate that put those lawmakers into office. If the people didn't want it, it wouldn't happen.

That is such BS. I am so sick of hearing it. I was born and raised here in rural Northern California. The votes in this state are controled mostly by the huge population in SoCal, some 10 hour drive away from me. The people here may want something, but the people down south are in charge.

And don't say, "just move out of state." So many times I read this on the forums. It's idiocy. It's oversimplification. Why don't you abandon your family and move out of your state.

And this:

Laws like that make me GLAD I live in TEXAS.

I swear I read that at least once a day here. Do you know how useful that is to the discussion? It's just plain annoying. How many more millions of times do I have to hear it.

And another thing. We are on the front lines here in CA. We are the ones fighting the good fight. You live in Texas. Good for you. But don't harp on those of us with the courage to stay and fight for our rights here in our home state.

I guess you will need to take out another mortgage on your home. The law is the law and it says to buy one gun a month. I had to leave Virginia because I was going bankrupt. Had no place to store them either.

Just vote for better gun laws.

I'm sorry. I must've missed the tick box on the ballot which said "better, fewer gun laws". Or was it under something more general like, "fewer oppressive laws which cater to special interest groups?" :(

Is it still illegal to carry a pair of wire cutters here in Texas, or did they get around to changing that?

it has to go through the paperwork, because you had it sent to a dealer. A dealer has to log every gun that comes through the shop. If he logs it in, he has to log it out, and to log it out, there must either be a 4473 or another FFL on record.
