My first stuck case was a military 30-06 that was probably fired in a machine guns loose chamber. There have been a few 223's along the way. The 30-06 may not have been lubed but the 223's were lubed with One Shot.
The nice thing about the stuck case removal kit it that it comes in a die box that stacks well with my dies.
I stuck a 222 and tried using the home made removal tool with a course thread bolt. The threads ripped right out. I hung my head in shame and sent it to Hornady for removal. Since them I am very liberal with case lube.
