I had a Ruger P95 follow me home from the gun show yesterday!

I am going to the range this afternoon with my P95!

I am going to run about 100 rounds through her today and see how she does!

I will do some shot groupings at different distances to let you know how I can get her to perform. I'll post pics either tonight or tomorrow!

Happy Good Friday to you!

>>Lining up the two lines and pulling out the slide release is a hassle to me. It doesn't want to sit still while I pull out the slide release. I am used to the simplicity of a CZ-82.<<

Place the pistol in the palm of you hand with the right side against your palm it you are right handed. Allow your fingers to curl over the top of the slide with the index finger just in front of the rear sight. Your thumb should be around the grip just under the beaver tail. Now with one hand you can move the slide back by using the fingers against the opposing grip of the thumb. If you have some problems getting the slide moving just use your left hand to push a bit from the front of the slide. You can easily achieve perfect alignment and hold it with just the four fingers and the opposing thumb in the grip.

Ya'll are some lucky guys with these guns that just "followed me home". To this day all the guns I like are like hookers, it takes an exchange of $$$ to get them home with me.

Maybe I'm just ugly.

All the Best,

That's funny sh$% right there... I don't care who you are!

I must be fugly too, cuz I had to give money too. Kind of like that cute puppy at the pound that follows you home. You gotta pay for them too!

Range report!

Here are my pics of how I did yesterday at the range as promised. I was quite pleased since this is only the second time I have shot the pistol. In fact this is only the second time in my life ever shooting anything larger than a .22 magnum handgun. The .22 Mag is a single action revolver, so they are worlds different. I am sure most of you could out-shoot me but I was very happy with my results!

Enjoy!

Mikey!

Gwillys,

I agree. It felt different yesterday after grip install... More control and less strength needed to hold on.

That's a nice pair you have there! (Something I've often thought about a well endowed woman!) First time about guns though! LOL :D
