I just put on lay away my 1st Colt

I went to my local range today. I looked in the case while talking to kevin when low and behold I saw my first 1955-56 Colt .45. I used tihe $350 I had on credit to buy/put on layaway the most amazingly smooth action .45 for $850. Yup I just had to make that classic piece of steel my very first .45. So did I do good? I'll post some pics after I get it out.

Pics? Tough to tell what you got for $850 w/o pics On the up side, Colt will command a greater premium simply for who they are

My first colt

I went and picked it up today because it was raining. Brightened my day so here are the pics you asked for, now you can judge if it was a deal. I also shot it at 15 yds kept the best one of course.
