i need info on a shotgun

i have an old shotgun whippit is casted on the side of reciever and a grey hound dog on it as well i need a trigger gaurd but i dont know what or who makes this it is 12 gauge not much more to say if you know please help

Whippet was a Trade Name used by H&D Folsom Arms Co on guns made for the Hibbard, Spencer Bartlett & Co of Chicago Il. around the late 1800's to mid 1900's This gun falls into the catagory of a "Hardware Gun" Being made by a major mfg for a Hardware Store. There is also a possibility that the gun was also made by Crescent Firearms Co during the same period.
