I need two things to restore my K-98 Mauser,,,

I need two things to restore my K-98 Mauser,,,
The wood piece of the stock on top of the barrel,,,
That's the piece just in front of the rear sight ramp,,,
I also need the hood that covered the front sight blade.

Everything else about the rifle is original,,,
Just like when my great-uncle Bantie brought it back from the war.

If any of you good folk happen to have these parts,,,
Please contact me and let me know what you would have to have for them.

The sight cover is easy. The top hand guard might be a problem. I haven't had much luck in getting a correct replacement for any of my Mausers. There's probably 30 different types. They can differ by .25" - 6". The last one I bought was 3/8" short at the front barrel band leaving a large gap. When ordering one I recommend sending the dimensions. Liberty Tree tried to match one up for me but no cigar.
