Have an FN/ Israeli Mauser K-98 in 7.62 NATO. Wood is a bit rough from duty but the bore is pristine. The old rear sight adjustment slide is very
loose, rewarding these old eyes with 8" groups at best at 100 yards. I have all but written the check for a set of MOJO sights and thought you folks could give me a little insight into just what I can expect and if there is anything better out there at a reasonable price Thanks in advance.

How did you do with your Mojo sights?

More importantly, where did you get your rifle. It seems that the supply of Israeli Mausers has dried up.

If you are using some Argentine Milsurp, then that might be it.. Port Milsup isn't that much prettier..

Get a laser pen for about $3.99, and stick it in the bore.. That'll tell you a story or two..

I have a set of the dual arperture ("Snap Sights") on my Finnish M39. I love them! They made a huge difference in my shooting. With the orginal military sights off the bench, I probably grouped about 3-4" average and can do about 1.5-2.5" with the Mojo sights.

They are very well made and well worth the money IMO.

I see he now has some pretty slick looking "MicroClick" adjustables now.

I've never tried Argentine surplus, but my 7.62x51 Garand can do around 2" groups with Portugese, Australian and South African surplus. Hirtenberger is supposed to be very accurate as well, but I never tried it either.

Have you thought about a peep site? I have a Williams on my Enfield, that was done in the 60's.... My Israeli Mausers are great shooters, two inches at 50 yards with iron sights, great bores, crappy wood, and work great. Another approach is to glue the sight with crazy glue, or with loctite. Or you can order another sight and it might be tighter....

Israeli Mauser/Mojo sites

1) Originally posted Jan.2004- no responses
2) Purchased Mojo rear sight April2004 -I was on the road most of the Spring & Summer during which time our offices were gutted and renovated.
3) Few responses to original post during July 2004 which I just found(Jan.2005)
4) Installed the sight Sept.2004
5) Finally made it to the range with this rifle/sight combo Jan.21,2005.
5 shot cluster at just over 2" with one called flyer at 4" using Fed. American Eagle ammo.

I apologize for the delayed response. If anyone is considering the Mojo sights I'm certainly a believer- from 8"group with the original worn out sights to just over 2" groups with the Mojo sight.

Edit: Sam, Got this rifle 2.5 years ago from Southern Ohio Gun-they sold out rather quickly from what I understand.
