that the moderators make a special section in rifle country specifically for the AR. There are so many questions about it (I'm guilty as well) that it should have its own section and might help clear up rifle country.

Yeah, and then I wouldn't have to hear about the endless discussion about the AR-15.
But getting people to break the habit of posting in the rifle forum would be a bit hard.

And for those who want to say that we shouldn't and join ar15.com instead, thats not an option available for some.

There are a lot of posts comparing the AR platform to other platforms. Where would you post those?

If there was a seperate section for the AR...
There'd have to be one for the AK.
Then milsurp.
Then long range shooting.
Pistol caliber carbines? Where do those fall?

None of those have the posting frequency of the AR, the AK sorta maybe... If they want to compare, they can put it either place, I think it would just clean it up a little. But it was just a thought, I'm not demanding or protesting or anything.
why not just make a sub-section of the rifle forum.... "ugly black rifles" or "things that go 'rattle' in the night"... 
It is a rifle forum. Last I heard the AR and AK were both rifles. If someone (besides a moderator) complains about you talking about them tell them to "get lost and go eff themselves ".
Requests such as these usually go in the Tech Support forum; but I wouldn't hold my breath for now.
