My 722 has now been fired over 3000 times, about 70% SA and 30 DA mode. The trigger pull is over 12 lbs for the DA and about 4 lbs 15 onz for the SA. It has definately improved over the last 6 months. For example the SA has gone from 5 lbs 5 onz down to 4 lbs 15 onz in just the last 1000 odd rounds. The trigger is smooth, nice and breaks cleanly, just heavy. Ignition is not a problem.
I would really like to lighten this up, particularly the DA pull. This is a new manufacture 722 and Dan Wesson factory will do a trigger job for about 120$ with shipping.
I was wondering if I could just change out the springs and continue to shoot it figuring the pull would improve? I was thinking of a reduced power Wolff kit and trying to tackle this on my own. (after all you have to start somewhere....)
