So I’ve been reloading a few years. I didn’t have much of a hands on mentor so I turned to places like this and YouTube in addition to reloading manuals and time after time people would say they would always put the powder they were pouring on the table by the machine so they always knew what was in the dispenser, so that’s what I’ve done. I’ve seen countless videos of the lee single stage setup and never seen anyone do this. Anyway figured I would share since it just dawned on me tonight that the 1lb powders I have mount right on the lee perfect powder dispenser

The bottles aren’t transparent so you will have to remove it to visually check the level of remaining powder.
And there isn’t a convenient way to return powder back to the bottle while weighing different charges.

Haha clearly I didn’t read the lee manual. In regard to returning powder back to the bottle it seems like it would be as easy as the original setup which is just a clear bottle that has to be taken off to be filled anyway. I use it to dump all my different charges until I get the right weight. When i find my charge and I’m all done for the night I take the powder off and dump the remaining weighs back in.

It’s ok to not RTFM. Let those who have not read throw the first rock. There’s a thread that has tips and tricks, you may want to append there. Good luck.

Of course this is only true with the Latest Iteration of the powder measures hoppers. This does not work for any of the previous models w/o an upgrade kit.

I still use the previous model of the Auto Drum and Auto Disk but if I did have to use this I would take an old bottle and cut the bottom off of it as I just do not see or feel the need to keep an extra open container on the bench with small amounts of powder waiting to be dumped back into the jar.
