The place was packed as expected. Lots of ARs of all types but prices have tripled. Most people were just looking and few buying, of course, buyers are smart and not falling into the prey.
Ammo stocks were very low and almost overpriced either double or tripled . No more 9mm , 22 LRs that are okey prices. Its still Walmart to go to get the best price today. The 5.56 in 1000 rd case priced at $600 , the 7.62 x 39 priced at &$500 plus tax are the new normal. Everything is outrageous in prices, nothing worth saying you get a deal.
As to pistols, they remain quite within normal prices. But i notice a lot of 1911 s in .22 LR caliber. i was tempted to get the Umarex Colt 1911 in .22 LR. And Ruger Mk 3s were also plentiful , maybe they anticipated people will retrench back to .shooting cheaper .22 LRs. For me , i just bought four boxes of Aguila Super .22 Colibre for backyard fun. And they aint cheap too like $5 per 50 rds. Oh well, the times have changed .
