Look for a used DPMS, got mine for $700 6 months ago.

DPMS has a few under $1000K but not below $900. Same money far as I'm concerned. Save your $$$ get what you can while you can!

Best price you'll find on a new DPMS LR-308 will be at RGuns.net. The 24" heavy barrel stainless (non-fluted) with A1 Upper Receiver goes for $875.00. If you want a fluted barrel, it will be $925.00.

I ordered my 24" fluted SS A1 on a Monday, and it was at my FFL on Wednesday.
