...who would it be? This is purely for the purposes of speculation, but if you had to fulfill all of your firearm-related needs with the products of one manufacturer, who would you pick?

For me, it's Ruger. Not neccessarily my overall favorite in every category, but this is what I came up with:

Carry gun: Ruger LCR, SP-101, and SR-9 depending on situation
Defensive rifle: SR-556
Hunting rifle: Model 77 in .30-06, No. 1 in .45-70
Rimfire rifle: 10/22
Rimfire pistol: Mk. III Hunter
Hunting handgun: SBH .44 Magnum

I would pick FN

FN High Power (Handgun)
FN FiveSeven (Handgun)
FNP (Handgun)
FN PS90 (just for fun)
FN FS2000 (Bullpup)
FN SCAR (Modular Carbine)
FN FAL (just because)
FN FNC (just because)
FNAR (Semi-auto long range)
FN SPR (.308 bolt rifle)
FN SLP (Shotgun)

I would be happy with that as my collection:D

Colt, from the years 1910-1960.

I'll vote for Ruger and I don't even own one anymore. I've had two and loved them both. I'm more into rifles than anything and they make good ones, as well as very durable autos and IMO the best revolvers in the business. Just my opinion.

For me it would be Ruger. That would be for semi-auto handgun, revolvers both SA & DA,bolt action hunting rifle and semi-auto tactical rifle. I don't have much need for a shotgun but a Red Label would handle that.

Even with their questionable past decisions, if I could only pick one manufacturer, it would be Smith & Wesson....

Ruger :D

They may not be the best in every category, but they are consistently rugged and reliable, accuracy is competitive.

I would pick Colt. You could have 1911's, various revolvers in both single and double action, and an AR-15. Shotguns could be a problem.

As painful as it would be to give up my Berettas (shotgun and handgun), I'd probably have to add another vote for Ruger. They manage to do something well in most categories. FN is another possible choice, except they don't do revolvers that I'm aware of.
