Of those on your list, definitely the Smith&Wesson although there are other great choices out there.
What's that, you say? I'm in the minority? They sell lots more Fords than Bentleys. (Not that a Smith approaches...etc.)

Just from what you have listed, it would be the HK. If you had listed the P7M8, it would still be an HK.

I voted XD, assuming that I would be CCing it also. But just to have around the house I say CZ. I have an SP01 that I like a lot.

couldn't vote since my new favorite isn't on the list, even though i've owned 7 out of the 10 on the list... my vote would go to the post-recall Ruger SR9, best 9mm i've ever had yet. if i had to pick one on the list i'd go with the FNH FNP9 or the H&K though...

HK MP5SD. More effective for when you and I go to solve the problem of only being able to own one 9mm.

This is the correct answer. :)

But handgun-wise, it might as well be small, I'd go with a Kahr PM9 and carry a 10mm or .45 unless I needed something really small.

sa xd for me in the 4" service model. why? that is what i shoot best with, moreso than any other gun bar none.

From your list I would go with the FNP 9. My second choice would be the CZ P01.
However, I would give up both of those pistols before my Walther P88C or Walther P99.

Definitely my XD9 Service. Always reliable for me, 16rd capacity and probably more accurate than me. Also it is very easy to break down for cleaning.
