My EDC is a G26 so I'm keeping that.

An Ar has a lot of advantages in a thread like this. Slap a new upper on it if you need more gun. If its what I have now then I'll keep the 6.5 Grendel Alexander Arms and my PSA 5.56 upper.

Ruger SP101
Marlin 1894C

Both chambered in .357 so can shoot either that load or .38 for lighter work--always been a sucker for the .38 special. . The SP 101 can be a ccw but handles the .357 load just fine. So I get two guns and only have to worry about stockpiling one or two calibers.

The results of this question/poll are much more in line with what I expected than the 1 gun thread.

Again picking brains Warp.

As I said in your first thread, Ill pick shotgun and add handgun. In this case remington 870 and glock 17.

I wanted to say glock 26 at first, but I could conceal a 17 just as well with practice and creativity.

Im sure you know what Ill say on your next thread. In case you dont, Arsenal SGL-21.73.

I do not currently plan to go beyond 2.

I think your true priorities are watered down/hidden when you get 3. It isn't limiting enough.

I know that may sound weird considering one of my other longer threads is "If you could only have 20 guns"...but it is what it is.

I does make one think and prompt some honest responses more than 3 would . . . How about

If you could only have 1.5 guns, What would they be?

Im sure you would get some wild responses.:D

S&W 629 and a Remington 870. Simple and gets the job done. Then again maybe it should be a Colt 1911 and a M4. Fun mental challenge.
And I read the OP twice, did not see anything about Feds breaking doors down. Did I miss something...

Ahh but 3 is perfection if one choses a long gun, sidearm and pocket pistol:) unlike 2 which requires one to make a very difficult decision

I think Hank Jr. said it best.
"I got a shotgun, a rifle, and a four wheel drive/ And a country boy can survive"
Ruger 10/22 and Remington 870

My vote boils down to ultimate utility. A pistol, specifically a revolver, and a pump action shotgun. To further enhance the utility, a .357 which can use .38 and shot shells effectively; and a 12GA, arguably the most utilitarian round on the planet. As far as specific models, a Ruger GP100 4" and a Mossberg 835. If I can cheat a little, I'd get a slug barrel for the Mossberg.

You would be allowed the slug barrel for the shotgun. They are often sold that way.

I would keep a pistol and a rifle. I dont really bird hunt and enjoy deer hunting. I almost said two rifles but I need the pistol for obvious reasons.

Il go

S&W 357 and a Weatherby Mark 5

I like the idea of a handgun for CCW and a long gun (preferably rifle, although currently I have a shotgun) for HD. However, I also am a firm believer in redundancy, and I do not want to have only one pistol for CCW. Should it be in the shop due to breakage or because I want to have some new parts put on it, then I wouldn't want to be out a CCW.

So while I would like to have pistol+rifle, I voted two pistols, because the redundancy is more important to me.

Have to go with my VZ58 for the rifle. As for the handgun, that's a bit more tricky. I want to go with my 1911 but my Shield just conceals so much easier. It's a tough choice.
