First off, I believe the Glock 9mm sub-compact is the G26. IIRC, the G27 is .40S&W.

I would (did) go with the Glock 19. I find this pistol to be the perfect size; big enough to shoot comfortably, none of that tea cup grip with the pinky hanging out stuff, but small enough to conceal. Decent trigger, light weight, 15+1, and mine has been 100% reliable going on 3000 rounds now. I love my Glock 19 and can't think of a single role where a 9mm would be applicable that it couldn't do well.

S&W M&P9 Pro with a 5 inch slide and a TLR-1 was my first duty gun when I became a cop. Good enough for me on the street, so it's good enough for me to keep.

A taurus. Just kidding

What's wrong with the Taurus? This is my. Second 99AF. the first gave several thousand rounds of trouble free service before I sold it. I missed it so much I bought this replacement, although this one has not seen as much action. Great shooter, very accurate, frame mounted safety is much handier than the slide mount on the beretta.

If the Taurus causes anyone shame, reckon what the hi-point in this pick is going to do! It's my go-to coon gun for nighttime spotlighting. The TLR1 and the cheap red-dot do the job quite well.
