I would want to get back my heavy barrel SAKO in .243 on the Fajen Custom Varmiter AAA fancy stock with the 4x-12x Redfield scope. I sold it when I got into fresh water bass tournament fishing. It was a "great shooting gun". I shot wood chucks at over 400 yards with it. Now the farm I hunted is full of Mc Mansions.
Next I would like to own an M 14. Just a semi-auto rifle would be fine with me. I could shot that well when I was in the service. I like knock down power not a plastic 5.56 mm. I never did like that one.
I want a custom mark V with synthetic stock and somewhat light contour barrel in 340 weatherby mag. topped with a leupold vx-7 2.5-10x45 and all the ammo I could ever shoot and free run on the northwest, canada and alaska...
Since I've got my heart set on owning a full-house custom 1911 from either Les Baer, Volkmann Custom, or Heirloom Precision at least sometime in this life, I'd have to go with one of those, following all of the specs I want for it.
FINNFUR dang yer hide. Thats exactly what I was going to say. And for the same reason. Sell it to somebody with more money than sense and buy a piece of property and all the guns I really want.
