If you found $500 what gun would you buy

Depends on the phase of the moon and this is the auto pistol forum, but I'd probably get a Walther PPK. Really though, I'd rather a nice L-Frame S&W revolver.

I agree with your concept but 20 mags? I have a total of 8 semi autos and have less than 20 total mags.

I would buy cast lead and stock up on reloading supplies.

2000 380 = $80
2000 9mm = $80
2000 357/38 = $120
2000 45 colt = $160
2000 primers = $60

Now i I found $1000 I would get all the above and a S&W M&P 9mm

I dunno.. maybe a Savage .308, or a Glock 27, or a Ruger GP100... I also wanted a S&W 442 to accompany my 642. Dang, I'm not sure.

Hi Point CF380
Actually, its the next gun on my list.
I need something for testing hot 380 handloads

This being the autopistol section, I'll skip over the shopping for an M-1 Carbine, or maybe a GSG-22.
Instead, it would be a tossup between a Rock Island in GI guise, or a Colt 1903. But, if i found a CZ-52, and a 9mm barrel too--that, would bear a lot of thinking about (especially having some change left over for a rug and extra magazines).

$500--------------> CZ75 B 9mm or 40 S&W in a heartbeat.I dont own one but i want one and probably will have one in my possesion in another 2 weeks:neener:

If I fell into $500 right now.....I'd sell my Sig Mosquito, combine the money and get the Ruger LC9 and SR22.....What ever was left I'd use to ammo up.

I agree with the others that gear, training and ammo are all important, but I'll stick with the question as stated and assume that the $500 is only good for a gun.

At this given minute, I'd probably go with the Ruger LCP or LC9 - both well under $500 new. Would be nice to have something ultra concealable. Spec Comparison - LCP vs. LC9

I would also keep a close eye on the used market for a well-loved bargain. There are lots of those out there these days and it would greatly increase the options in that price range.

And if I could shake an extra $200 out of my couch cushions, I'd love an STI Spartan.

Have fun!

I tried out the nano the other day it is much bigger than I expected about the same size as my xdsc except thinner. It did feel nice in the hand though it should be a pretty nice carry gun for iwb

They can have my guns...bullets and bayonets first
