I already have a Glock 19 and a Beretta 92A1. I am still learning to master the 92 (before moving onto the Glock 19), but if I was going to get another 9mm handgun (I won't; if I were to get another handgun I probably will get one in .45 ACP) I would probably get a Sig Sauer. I know next to nothing about Sig Sauer but I am the only guy with a Glock among my handgun friends, who all have at least a Sig Sauer and then some other 9mm, or just the Sig. So, there must be SOMETHING about the Sig that they like.

Everybody wants to shoot my glock 34 at the range.. accurate and fun gun as long as you aren't glockphobic. Just kidding, but I think its an excellent open carry choice which is one of the reasons I chose it.

Of the three mentioned, S&W M&P9.

I would rather have an original CZ75, purely because I liked them when they were first available, and quite hard to get, back in the day.

The large 9mm I actually have on layaway right now is a Glock G17. I am hoping my chief signs a new policy allowing the 9mm counterparts to our presently-authorized .40 duty pistols, as an option for those of who would rather tote 9mm. Cumulative .40 recoil is killing my bad wrist.

This was a split vote for me but I ended up voting for the 92fs. Here's why;

Looks during open carry - 92fs Inox.

Range fun - CZ75b.

Given the choices you gave, I would take the CZ 75B. I already have a Baretta 92FS, or that would have been my first choice.

I would have to handle/shoot the weapon, but assuming all three are comparable in accuracy and reliability I will go with the more esthetically appealing one. The CZ is a beautiful looking weapon.

I'm sure the S&W M&P is a fine pistol, too, but compared to the other two, it's uglier than sin.

:):)

I would pick the Glock 17 over the ones mentioned...just me :).

From the choices mentioned, Beretta 92.

Bill Wilson was asked in a magazine interview if he could not carry one of his 1911s what he would carry, and his answer was a Beretta 92. At that time his personal Beretta 92 had over 50,000 rounds through it without a malfunction.

Just my .02,
LeonCarr

I have a bit of a soft spot for 91 series Berettas. We have been through a lot together and she has never let me down. I don't like having to hide her on me, but you said open carry...

If I had to pick another 9mm, it would be the Steyr M9A1.

Reliable as a Glock, but with better ergonomics, and trigger.

Of those 3 choices, my personal preference would be the CZ. I don't care for polymer frame handguns and the Beretta is a bit chunky for me. My CZ-75B fits my hand perfectly, and is therefore easy for me to shoot with surprisingly little felt recoil. Gotta love the looks too (not quite a gorgeous as a well polished Hi Power, but nice in it's own right). The one thing I don't particularly care for is the 3 dot site setup, therefore I've thought about blacking out the rear dots to simplify/clean up the sight picture a bit.

I gotta go with the M&P. The CZ is just too pretty to beat up. I have a Hi-Power I used to carry but decided if something happened to it I would be very sad. Switched to a Glock.

No interest in Springfield, OP? I love my XDM 4.5 9mm. I just picked up a Shield for my CCW, so I think the M&P is a good choice, too.
