    Dear THR:
If some good old uncle of yours shows up one fine day and asks you to pick one gun from his collection as a gift, which one would you choose? Assume thre are no legal obstacles and all items are transferrable, with one condition that you cannot sell it. Do state your argument for choosing the particular pistol.

    Thank you

I voted for the Desert Eagle because I'd never buy one myself, but would like to have one.

I would probably take the Dan Wesson Titan if for no other reason than I have always wanted a 10mm. but have never got around to buying one.

What a generous gesture! I'd pick the Wilson, because at the rate I'm going, I'll never be able to afford my own. Then I'd wash his car and mow his lawn every weekend for the next 17 years.

    Went with the Wilson.

Was curious as to what was meant by conversion kit on Golden DE, but not sure I would want that over the Wilson at anyrate.

The 10mm, because the world needs more 10mm pistol shooters.

Just to show in what league my guns and I are in, I don't know what any of those are. So, I went with the Wilson Combat Supergrade Tactical Professional because, well, it's a really cool name to say.

Now, maybe I'll go look it up and find out what I'm getting. :D

I picked the Desert Eagle 50 because then you have 6" and 10" barrel in 44 mag and 357.

You mean to tell me that the dear old uncle of el Godfather does not have a USP, P226, or a Glock 17?

    This poll is bogus.

Just based on your previous posts, you're inquiring about commonplace pistols that everybody knows. Discussing the merits of each is a circular argument.
