Well the day has finally come!

A few years ago I ditched my Glock 22 because I needed money and since then I swore one day I would bring a Glock back into my collection. Well today I stumbled upon a Glock 27 and I just had to bring her home. It was marked "used" but honestly it looks like has never had a round through it, came with the box, paperwork and all the original accessories. It came with two mags, one of the mags with an extended pearce grip. It also came with Trijicon GL-11 night sights and the original sights as well. On top of all that it came with a Blackhawk Sportster Serpa injection holster, although I plan on ordering a different holster from Comp-Tac pretty soon. Well the whole deal came out to be a little over $500 and I'm happy as a pig in....well you know.

Strangely I don't recall Glock ever making a model 27C, it looks factory but perhaps this is a custom job?

Anyway here she is!

Hello

Good looking 27. I never n
knew Glock made a C model 27. Might be modified.

nice. definately looks like a custom job for a few reasons. never heard of a G27C, doesn't say "27C" on the slide, and the checkeing on the finger grooves are gone.

that being said, it looks like it made a visit to Mag-na-port, because it looks like the shape they use for porting.

The ports are defiantly and add on, but the lack of checkering was common in the sub-compact before the intro of the 357 sig into the platform IIRC.

That's a pretty nice find if you like the porting. Previous owner must have sunk a few hundred bucks to get it like that.

That's a pretty unique gun there. I had a G27 and sold it because of the recoil in such a small package, but the porting would certainly tame the recoil. Thing is I don't like ported pistols myself, unless it's for competition. Either way, I think you got something special for a decent price. Good find..enjoy!

*edit* I really really like those sights! I've never heard of "GL-11" sights. They look like Novak sights to me. Is that what they are, or is the "GL-11" something different?

KILLER deal in my opinion.

Porting & night sights are a BIG plus, although I don't think you will be able to see the night sights at night after one shot. Lets hope you never have to figure that out.

Cool, thanks. Those sights look pretty good on that 27. I might have to put some of those on my G19 when I get it.

Let us know how it shoots, please. I am not a huge fan of porting on a defensive handgun but I'm not as against it as some people are. It looks like a great job, whoever did it.

I'll hopefully get a chance to shoot it soon, I'll let you know.

Yeah I'm not a big fan of porting on defensive guns either, it was one of those cases where I didn't think about that because I was so enthused by the price. Hopefully if I ever have to use it in a defensive shooting it will be during the day.....or better yet hopefully I'll never have to use it in a defensive shooting period:rolleyes:

Nice pistol. One thing though, that porting is NOT a good addition to a defensive pistol.

Yeah, like I said I didn't think about it when I bought it. At some point I may buy a replacement non-ported barrel for it just for carry and use the ported barrel for target practice.
