you remember that fine utility belt he carries around. suddenly i'm finding myself putting way to many holsters on my belt in the morning. i'm hoping someone out their will have a source for a multi-holster, or other option of some sort.

here is what i "need" to carry everyday.

s&w 39-2 currently in a mirage holster concealed under untucked shirt
spare mag
fenix l2d flashlight
leatherman original tool
wallet
coins

fire dept pager (edited to add this)

any suggestions?

t'ain't nuthin'

Imagine if you had to wedge a radio, cuffs, and a badge in there, too!

Thats nothin!

Try toting a wallet, car keys, cell phone, 2 pens, a notepad, a little calendar/scheduler, bottled water, flashlight, pocket knife, 3 or 4 medications, lip balm, lighter, digital camera, hand sanitizer, and hand moisturizer.

Whats that you say? You want to carry a firearm too? Bwa, ha ha! :neener:

Two of my favorite things:
Old Navy "Classic" cargo pants
Maxpedition's Fatboy Versipack

Bah - you don't have:

A BUG
OC
Cell phone
Fighting knife (leatherman don't count for that) - really two needed, one for each side.
Kubotan
Backup miniflashlight - Inox, Photon, etc.

You are still in the 'Robin' stage, Grasshopper! :D

Seems like the leatherman (sans holster) and flashlight (and of course the wallet/coins) can go in pockets since those aren't really defensive tools you'll need access to as quickly as your firearm and spare mag. So you've got gun/mag/pager on the belt. The l2d is fairly big for pocket carry so you may want to pick up a l1d if you can.
If you want to be super tactical you can pick up some 5.11 or similar cargo pants, they have a myriad of pockets for that kind of stuff.

Button-down shirt with one front pocket, and 5.11 Tactical Nylon pants are what I wear all the time.

What I fit into it all:
Wallet
Coin change
Open pack of cigs
Unopened pack of cigs
Zippo
Pad of paper
Bic pencil
G2 pen
Fenix P1D
Leatherman Fuse
Cell phone
Pack of gum
Carmex mini tub
Backup lighter
MP3 player

... and I don't have my CCW yet. :uhoh:

You could always just don a yellow hardhat and a tool box and saunter around looking like you're "takin' care of business".

A tactical toolbox, of course.

Carrying lots of stuff is the reason all my pants are bdu/cargo type pants.I'm not a tactical mall ninja wanna be, but comfortable, durable, inxpensive, and lots of pocket space for my stuff is what I'm after and they fit the bill perfectly.

I also make sure I buy pants with pockets. At least 2. they're awfully handy for storing stuff. Why do you have a wallet and "coins" on your belt?

naw, they're in my pockets, but i wanted you to see what else i needed room for. of course you guys are making me feel as if i don't have enough stuff.

pockets are useful, i just hate craming them full of everything. i know i've seen some multitool/flashlight combo holsters, and i was hoping there might be other options as well.

Currently our State Troupers carry a belt that is 22+ pounds
Although I use a over the shoulder slung bag ( maxpedition versipack ), to carry water, a leash, pepper spray and a 44 Anaconda with 2 speed loaders, when I walk around in the woods with my dog.
I have also have a fanny pack to carry my 357 on other occasions.

get a flight suit!

http://www.transaeroinc.com/images/product/image/NomexFlightSuit-large.gif

Pens go on sleeve,
cell phone size pocket on sleeve
two large, easy access chest pockets
two large upper leg pockets
flashlight pocket
two large lower leg pockets.

I wear one every day and I carry: 2 writing utensils, wallet, keys, chapstick, eye drops, hat, sunglasses, pocket knife and a pack of gum on an average day. the other day i managed to fit my GPS and windshield mount in as well. All comfortably.

I had a blast going through my grandpa's flight suit when I was about 12 (he was a Col. in USAF) finding all kinds of cool stuff, especially that bright orange survival switchblade :)

Don't know why but none of them sag , they come in to my office from time to time I have asked . The weight distribution is right or something , it a lot of hardware to carry though.
