I'm watching a home improvement type show on A&E and it's interresting to say the least. One night the job site gets robbed and foreman say "it's just another obstacle" or something to that effect. He seemed to not be bothered very much. Next night same thing, only this time he says "I called the cops and there not gonna come". So what does he do? He "nips the problem in the bud". How does he do this? He and two buddies (and obviously a camera man) wait out front in his truck with a PGO shotgun and a 12 pack. So there drinking for about 5 hours before they see some lights in the house. They all rush over and break the door down scaring the thief away. They make a half-assed, fully drunk, attempt to chase the thief until they reach the woods and they do the smartest thing I saw these guys do which is go home.
I'd probably have my shotgun ready to go if I suspected I was going to be robbed. However, I wouln't be drinking and I certainly wouldn't be running around the neighborhood with it.
I'm confused as to how this ever got on A&E. I wonder if this guy will get charged with something now that its been on national television. At least DUI. What about drinking while holding a loaded shotgun... thats gotta be against some rule. :banghead: I wonder how many soccer moms saw that one... What will they think about construction workers?
