Thanks guys, I'am sending my slide, barrel and extractor to CGW tomorrow. Going to have the slide done in the Boron Silver, extractor and barrel in black. I'll post pictures when I get it back.
If Glocks came in white/fire-blaze/camo and not black everyone would want a black one and pay $$$ to get it. So I guess its all about whats available and what is different.
I did this with my 23 and never looked back:
1) Competition Trigger (Glockmeisters usually have them for nominal cost)
2) Lasermax Laser sight (They are great as its all concealed within the frame)
3) Mepro multi colored Nightsights
4) Bought a $4 plug for the lower hand grip for (asthetics and cheap)
5) A nice bianchi holster to hold it all.
The ONLY addition I am looking at doing is adding a competition stainless barrel (Not Compensated or anything flashy) but still researching which one for the Model 23 has the best results for accuracy as there are so many great manufacturers out there.
Quote: Why does the white Glock actually look okay to me?
I don't think it's that the white Glock is so great. I think it's that the others are really bad. Too overdone with way too much paint. So in comparison, the white Glock looks good as it isn't an eye sore.
