Glock Kool-Aid!

I can't believe I said that out loud, I can't believe I just put money down on a G19, I cant believe I'm going to the dark side. NOOOOO... What have I done?:what: Help me, Oh Lord, help me!!!

It started with this little voice in my head saying 'I Must own the almighty pinnacle of autoloading perfection, I must own the almighty pinnacle of perfection, I must own, I must own, I must, I must, I will......'

Found a deal I couldn't pass on. I'm kinda hoping I don't love it so I can sell it and go back to loving my Sigs and 1911's in peace. Otherwise some Sigs are gonna appear in the THR classifieds soon.

Should be in my sweaty little Glock loathing hands in a couple of weeks and we'll see if I like the taste.

their OK... they really aren't anything that other pistols can't do.

I hate the full size frame glock and the sub compacts... but the Glock 19/23 is just perfect in my hand. I do enjoy shooting them but to be honest, my Sigs and M&Ps are better quality all around.

I can't believe the glock costs what they do with Plastic Sights.

JOe

I love my H&K, 1911's, Rugers, ......and my Glock:what:

The Kool-Aid is ice cold and the cookies they have here on the darkside are fantastic!:neener:

More Glocks are on the list here.

That's why I never go out without a double layer of aluminum foil under my beanie .... :what:

Congratulations on your G19. My all-time favorite pistol. Shoot as much ammo as you can afford and before long you will see what all the fuss is about.

Other Glocks have come and gone from my collection, but the G19 is here to stay.

the only glock that i have let go is the .45gap and never looked back.

The G19 kool-aid is my favorite! I drink almost every day.

The G19 darkside is so bright and sunny...

So you're getting a Sig?

(Sorry, I saw "pinnacle of autoloading perfection" and assumed a Sig )

Seriously, Glocks are not my cup of tea, but for a lot of people they are...and if I were issued one for duty, I'd consider myself well armed. I just wouldn't buy one myself...

I started out with my first pistol as a G22. It was what I learned to shoot on. That being said, I sold it to get money for an AR, but I have since gone back for a G23 for all season carry. I can shoot it just as well if not better than my Kimber Custom TLE II. And, it's one of those things that...just...fits. I could shoot on target all day with that thing and not even see my sights. It's a natural.

I've had a Sig 220 and loved it. Sold it for the Kimber. When it came down to a good summer carry gun, it was a 229 or a G23. Cost and comfort in mind, I chose the G23. But I'd still love to get a P229.
