I'm normally not a Ruger guy, but.....

That is beautiful. I have a dao two incher that rides on my hip every day. It is not as pretty, but I love it nonetheless. Regarding the warning, it is annoying but I will take it over a lawyer lock any day. At least some ugly writing will not cause my self defense weapon to malfunction when murphy decides it is a good time. ;)

Shhhh! Don't give Ruger ideas. Ideas like a warning label AND a lawyer lock!

Bumping to hear if anyone found out how many were made. I just picked one up today for $450 out the door. The only info I am finding is MSRP of $1095. Any info would be great.

I traded my Glock-27 for this EXACT gun, only i took those grips off and replaced with rubber-over molded CT grips.. I get comments OFTEN about the engraving.. some do include references to BBQ....

Its been fired but not much. I can't find any for sale to compare price. I think I did alright for $450 seeing as MSRP is $1095. I would guess real world would be $800-$900 and used in excellent condition (like this one) would be $700ish.

What do yall think?

Ack, Rugers are always so close to being good looking. The brown sideplates on a black grip always strikes me wrong, aesthetically. This either makes me a Phillistine* or an S&W snob. :0

The engraving is wonderful though. Is the pattern different between each pair of flutes? I have no engraved weapons - maybe if I win a shooting match** I'll reward myself with one.

* Now some funnyman will come along and ask where Phillistines are made, and do they have a nice .357 in a 3-inch barrel length?

** I haven't shot any real matches.

In my own opinion, nice work on engraving and grips but,I just love my GPs,Security,Speed Sixes, and My L.C.Rs plain janes just as much.

You are going to need a white suit and a wide-brim white hat with a big lavender feather to go with that gun.

Now, THAT was funny :D

Wonderful revolver. I have become a big Ruger fan due to the quality and durability of their products. I just got a new GP100 (6") and it is built like a jewel.

Your revolver looks great and should be a lot of fun to shoot.
