I'm thankful for my new CMP email

I had just about given up hope of getting an affordable Garand from CMP but I checked the website last week and they had Field Grades listed again for $630. I whipped together my documentation and mailed it on Thursday.

This afternoon I received an email from CMP stating that my order was verified and accepted, and that I'm in the queue for a rifle. YES! I can't wait to see what shows up on my doorstep someday (hopefully) soon.

I'm thankful a day early!

The best shooting Garand I bought from CMP is a field grade with a VAR barrel I picked out in the North Store.
