IMR 4166 Enduron

Is anyone using this powder instead of Varget or RL-15?
Any comments on it yet?

Yep. I'm using in my .308 and absolutely love it! It's given me the best of accuracy and velocity combined in my .308.

If it is better than those two, I'll have to give it a try. I really like RL-15 though.

I used it in my .308 win and it did not do well. Used in a dpms lr 308B and a custom rem 700 308. accuracy was ok..... could not get velocity out of it with 155 gr. SPMK or 168 gr. SMK signs of high pressure before i could match any of these powders. IMR-4064 out ran it, Varget out ran it, and CFE-223 out ran it. also meters poorly as it is a stick powder. meters like IMR-4064. might be better with a different weight bullet. i made some hunting rounds with the rest of it and will not buy it again, it is expensive and i can find way more suitable powders for the .308 win.

Yeah, I forgot to add that. I use 178's from a custom Rem 700. Gave me right around 2700fps.

I bought a keg of this and split it with a friend both of us used it in out 308. I have a armalite ar and hes using a rem700. For him it works very well, better than rl15 which was his go to powder. I dont like it u my ar, and from what ive read on other forums it is not good for gas guns. But i use it in my savage 6.5 creedmoor with pretty good results so far. I havent been able to put it through a chrony yet but velocities should be on par with varget/rl15
