Infrared scope question

Got a X Sight 2 scope in a trade the other day but the little infrared lite mounted on it only works out to about 25 yards or so. I'd like to be able see to out to 50 or 75 yard minimum. I'm not a serious night hunter, but would like to be able to use it around the barns and feedlots at night. What would be a good simple, lightweight, infrared light that could still be mounted on the gun?

Look at a surefire light with a IR filter.

You can focus the beam and aim it. Also put it on 720 not 1080, makes a big difference.

I bought the Xsite Pro 850 for about $110 on Amazon this spring to supplement the Ir one that came on the 4K Pro digital . It was like Night and Day out to at least 300 yards. The adjustable mount it came with helps focus it and the beam can wide or narrow focus !
