Anyone know of an instinctive activation laser for the Ruger Security 9? I don’t see anything out there from normal makers.

Any reviews on the pistol in general? From what I have seen, they are accurate and reliable, using the LCP II high positive sear angle but with the terrible LC9 manual safety selector, but I have only demo’d one, not owned it for thousands of rounds.

@GunnyUSMC bought one. I still haven’t actually seen one, and don’t personally know anybody who owns one.

I’m still boycotting the security nine and s&W m&p series based on their names. Security is supposed to be followed by six and is rotary, just like M&P is supposed to be rotary. This grabbing names from the past thing is fine, but don’t take a wonderful rotary and turn it into a crazy bottom feeding reciprocating doodad with a plastic frame.

The Security is a nice pistol, but I no longer have one. I gave it to my sister for Christmas. She loves it. She like the size of the grip over the SR( and the Glock 19.
Now I do still have a Security 6. I also have a few M&R revolvers, but I also have some M&P autos. I love all my M&Ps.
I have not seen a laser for the Security 9, but 2019 starts tomorrow, and who knows what the New Year will bring.

There’s a factory offering with a Viridian laser, but it’s an on/off button, not an instinctive pressure switch. My grandpa settled on one for his carry/home pistol, but we’re trying to get him arranged with a passive laser instead of a manual switch.

I looked at them when Sportsmans Warehouse was selling them for around $269 IIRC. Look and feel good. Read a couple of positive reviews and came close to buying one. For under $300 where can you go wrong?
