My dad is being offered a stainless steel Interarms PPK in .380 ACP. I do not know much about the maker itself, but I do know the PPK is a cool little pistol. The guy is asking $350, I believe. That or $300. What are the details on this pistol? Is it worth this? I have not been able to handle the gun. Thank you for speedy advice.

Your SF note reminds me of the big scandal there over the mayor's marriage - he married a woman and the whole city is in shock!

Seriously, $300-350 is a decent price for that gun if it is in good shape. New-in-box value runs around $450. Note that some of those are ammunition sensitive, so you might have to try a couple of different brands of ammo to get one that works.

I have an Interarms manufactured SS Walther PPK/s in .32acp that I purchased NIB back in January of 1999. This one has been an excellent performer with no issues and it digests everything I feed it from FMJ to HPs. The price you mentioned is about right if all is well with the pistol. Since the Interarms PPK and PPK/s models are pretty much true to Walther design specs an issue known as the "Walther Bite" exists with these models just like on the original Walther manufactured pistols.

Get it I love my interarms PPK Been a relieable little pistol for a lot of years. As for the bite unless really large hands. Just hold it a little lower and you won't get bit. Remember pistol dates from time people shot 1 handed and didn't try to wrap 2 hand all over top of it In name of control. It points shoots 1 handed very well .

Use this as a benchmark...I bought an Interarms PPK/S several months ago, gun only, no box, just gun and two mags, in outstanding condition, for $335 shipped. FFL that handled the transfer thought it looked new.

Sorry to bump, guys. But I got to look at the pistol itself. Comes with case and manual, and an extra magazine that doesn't have the slam pad. The other one does, however. The trigger has a relatively light pull for a double action gun (if that's what it is... sorry I don't know if its DA or not >.<) If it is a double action, it's sure better than my dad's old Glock.

The price is $350 dollars, for sure. It's not my decision though.

Excellent price. I have a PPK/S, manufactured by Manhurin, that I bought new in the early 80's. Wonderful workmanship, and I would carry it more except for the annoying habit of the slide biting me on the web of my thumb.

That's how they came. One mag with finger rest, one without.

Mine has a good single action pull (hammer cocked) but the double action pull (hammer down) is atrocious. Sounds like your gun has had some work done??
