Ms Brady ain't worried about cops. She just doesn't want her bodyguard to go down. Ban all the guns but not my bodyguard's.

There is practically no felt recoil. It's about the same as shooting a .22lr pistol, maybe just a little more recoil. Fun stuff.

I love my PS90.Virtually no recoil, little noise and accurate. The Vmax bullets do a great job on butternut squash:)

WOW!!

I had no idea they hated my little baby so much. :D Guess he never had to fire his gun when he was a cop. Probably would have gone "click" instead of "boom". Idiot didn't even chamber a round.

Hey, outofbattery, have you got the SBR conversion for your PS90? THAT'S what I've got to have.

Did you hear him say (paraphrasing):

This gun is small and lightweight and could be easily concealed and legally carried by a concealed weapons permit holder. Now if that concealed weapons permit holder had a bad day it could turn into a real ugly day for the policeman who happened to get in his way.

Again that was paraphrase. I could go back and listen again to make it more accurate, but i don't want to barf again.:barf:

This round has no purpose in the civilian market. Civilians can legally buy this and use it against a policeman.

Aren't policeman civilians?:scrutiny:

In the wrong hands, this round could be vary dangerous.

Last I checked, that was true of all rounds, and knives, bats, hydrochloric acid, and a whole host of other things.

Ban the wrong hands, not the tools.

Not only do they want to take away your guns. They also make it easy for others to help by litterally putting the words right into their mouth. Here's a "sample" press release they offer on the subject. You just have to fill in the blank:

[CITY] POLICE WANT ‘COP KILLER’ GUN OFF THE STREETS; URGE APPROPRIATE CONGRESSIONAL ACTION

[City] – [City] law enforcement officers today called on Congress to take action and get a new ‘cop killer’ gun off of the streets before an officer is fatally wounded.

Police nationwide have been notified to be on the lookout for the Herstal Five-SeveN, a small, easily concealable handgun that fires bullets that penetrate soft body armor, including the bulletproof vests that police wear on the job everyday.

“This gun is a new and lethal threat to law enforcement officers,” said [Chief XXXXXXXXX], of the [city] police department. “It has the power of an assault rifle, yet it fits right in your pocket. Congress must act quickly to rid the streets of this killer gun.”

“We’re concerned about the safety of our local law enforcement officers,” said [activist’s name, organization]. “To date, no police officer has been killed with this weapon, but it’s only a matter of time before the Five-SeveN is used for its marketed purpose – penetrating body armor. No officer should have to worry about facing this gun and the extraordinary danger it poses in the line of duty.”

I guess they can't count on their rank and file sheeple to think for themselves.

It's entertaining and interesting to look at the anti-gun wesbites, but I feel like I just wasted 5 minutes of my life afterward.

The rounds designed for the PS90 that penetrate body armor in the FN FiveSeven are not available to civilians. It is essentialy a .22 spitzer and even if it penetrates vests the cop returning fire will not likely be incapacitated by a .22 at higher velocity before returning fire with his much more lethal manstoppers. So this really is mute and silly. The main advantage of the FN FiveSeven is that it allows people with a PS90 to have a sidearm of the same cartridge. It is also flat shooting and high capacity, probably making headshots or critter control much easier, but far from something police should be more concerned about than other firearms IMHO.

No,call me strange but I *like* the longer barrel's look and the thing is small enough for my uses- not to mention $200 is 10 boxes of 5.7X28:)

uh-oh,might not want to say that.Sarah knows that much ammo would shoot itself out of the safe and hunt down every copper in a 20 mile radius.

Funny that when I picked it up,the first guys who wet their pants wanting to try it were some of my town cops and deputy shooting buddies! If I were them,I wouldn't want to be so casual around bullets that want to do nothing but shoot themselves some officers.God knows that there are countless hoodlums out there waiting in lines at gun stores to swap their stolen Brycos for a $1500 plinker.Iiiiiiidiots.

It sounds like that guy is out of breath towards the end of the video.

Want another donut?

I had a chance to fire a few rounds out of one of these things right after firing some 9's and some .40's.

I honestly looked sidelong at the thing after I fired it, and peered down at the target...to see if I had actually shot the thing. The recoil was so light I thought maybe I got a squib on the first round.
