I am looking for a holster for my FN. Preferably a 2-hole high hip design.

FN has some info about who makes holsters for it at the botton of the 5.7x28 info page but none of those mfg.'s web sales portals have my poor FiveSeven listed.

Has anyone holstered a Fiveseven yet? If so what did you use?

I'm thinking the dimensions are probably similar to some other pistol (one of the HK .45s) but don't want to re-invent the wheel if some one here knows.

Thanks,
Yo

Well, I've only seen pictures of the 5.7 so I can't say what holster would fit it nor do I know of any holster maker that would have either the FN 5.7 or a dummy moulding block lying around to make one. Finding a holster here is going to be tough!!! I think the only options I can think of off the top of my head would be one of the Uncle Mike's glorified nylon sacks or what might be a better route, a Yaqui slide holster from Galco. I had the problem of trying to find an IDPA legal CCW holster for my old Walther P38 (no, I don't really carry the old girl but I do like to use her in IDPA matches from time to time just to do it) and found that the Yaqui slide was my best option. Might want to check out going that route. One model fits 1911s and handguns similar to it and the other model Yaqui slide fits DA autos like the Beretta, Sig, P38, etc.

I am going to assume (my first mistake) that you have a FiveSeven Tactical, not a FiveSeven IOM. If so, you may have to send your pistol to the holster manufacturer of your choice, so a moulding block can be made. I was asked to do the same thing when I wanted an NP-1 from Milt Sparks for my Trojan 6.0. Rather than ship the pistol and incur the costs, I ordered an NP-2 (Yaqui Slide style holster).

You assume correctly. I'm going to head to the best holster gun shop in town and try her out in a few diffrent rigs. The trigger guard is a bit goofy (yes I said it) so I worry about that fitting.

I'm with you - I'm not inclined to send my gun off to anyone for any reason. I wonder if they can send me a mould....

Thanks!

Onmilo,

I have a firend who is always talking about Blade-tech. I saw one holster they offer for the FN 49 but not the FiveseveN. If you don't mind me asking; what holster did you see there? (I'll keep poking around the website)

I want leather but I don't think that is going to happen. Gould & Goodrich offered to look into making some if I order 25 or more....

Thanks,
Yo

Yojinbo they make belt, paddle and thigh holsters for the FN FiveSeven.
These are not in the el- cheapo injection moulded line.
You have to look in the high quality lines to find a holster for this pistol.
To find the gun pick a holster style that appeals to you and click on the weapon model tab.
The Five Seven is listed on the very bottom or near the bottom of the weapon model scroll. hth Milo

Wow! Thank you. I was usign that deceptive "alphabet" and looking for 'F' after 'E'. 'F' obviously belongs after 'Z' at Blade-tech now.

Wait, I better not bad-mouth them. No one else has a holster that I can see. I just ordered a belt holster from them. I will update next week (I hope) when it arrives.

I'm taking the 5.7 out to the range this afternoon and I'll let you all know what I think about that too.

Thanks for the help!
