I cannot comprehend audio books well—my mind spins off onto tangents. Seriously. Not a problem when reading…you just stop reading:)

I tried Audible for a while but I got annoyed because the voices of the narrators didn’t match the voices I expected from the characters. I grew up listening to radio and reading books so the audiobooks should have been a natural fit (they’re kinda a cross between the two ) but I just never found one I enjoyed.

I watch a lot of YouTube videos, almost entirely cooking related. The few gun related videos I’ve seen are not good. To say the least, they’re not covering any aspect of shooting that interests me.

Not really interested in being “converted” either. Yes, I am familiar with technology. No, I’m not interested in the “AR Platform”. Thanks anyway.

Problem with YouTube videos is too much talking. Just give me bottom line—here’s how you set up this die. Nothing else needed.

I’ve read Atlas Shrugged twice and The Fountainhead once. I like reading. Tried the former on audio and lasted less than an hour. Listening is harder for me:)

You nailed it.

The cooking videos are all technique, very little talking about anything but the technique being demonstrated, and they are all very short - less than five minutes typically. The gun videos are some guy droning on and on and on about nothing for half an hour then two minutes of, “Oh, by the way, this is what I wanted to show you…”.

Andrew Zimmerman and Fabio Viviani clown around a little but most chefs are all business.

Interestingly I wet tumble but don't go through the trouble of making pretty despite knowing how to make picture perfect brass. Clean, post, wear gloves, load and dry tumble loaded with corn cob for insane shine.... that's fine, but way to much trouble for me...

I find it intresting a group of people dedicated to creating uniformity and anneal every loading think that they have uniform dirty or carbon buildup each cycle... if you need to perfectly anneal with a 1000 dollar plus machine every loading you mise well have good looking brass 🤣
