Here's the situation:
I have a pretty extensive collection; a little bit of everything. But for some reason, I never picked up a Beretta 92. Always liked them, fit my hand good and all that but never had a compelling reason to put cash down for one.
Here's where it gets interesting: in that magic time we call the 90's, I was able to pick up (rather cheaply) about a half dozen "regular" capacity factory military magazines (with the metal followers) for the 92. I think a lot of people did that; buy mags for guns they didn't have yet, but anticipated getting. I did the same for M1A mags, Glock 21 mags and ParaOrd mags.
But now since they've discontinued the 92FS I wonder if now is the time to do it? I know they won't disappear overnight, but should I just step up now and not take any chances?
What do you guys think?
