This kinda stuff is what I'm talking about.
I don't even recall seeing those on Personal Defense TV-if they were in there, I probably blew buy 'em as I thought they were just commercials?

I see they do include the Knockdown Factor I so enjoy! :D

Why do people whine about the shipping and handling? Do they have a monopoly? If you don't like it, don't buy it. The beauty of the free market. You can charge what you want and you can pay what you want.

I haven't ordered a lot from Midway but my experience has been fine and I enjoy the youtube vids.

QFT.

Larry Potterfield for president.

+1

as for the shipping charges.... since they started using USPS i think they are as low as anybody elses. I always check Graff's, Mid South and Cabela's... and I always wind up ordering from Midway.

I <3 Midway

interesting post about Midway as an employer....

fwiw... I've found that some of the best companies from a price and service to the customer standpoint are not the best companies to work for from a wages, benefits and policies standpoint. The two agendas are often at odds with each other. Don't ask me how I know this.

As an example the company actually times how long employes spend in the bathroom and counts the number of times you use it.

again fwiw, I worked for a machine shop in the mid-80s and if you went to the bathroom at any other time than your break or lunch period, you would get spoken to by the foreman. If you did it a second time, you were handed your time card and told to punch out and go home. Again, don't ask me how I know this.

The company atmosphere is controling repressive and invasive.

Some of this goes hand in hand with any retailer... as they all have loss (theft) prevention programs.

I suspect a lot of it also has to do with their striving for a high QC standard, which requires control over every facet of the process.

Personaly, in this day and age, anybody who runs a profitable business and pays wages to a large number of employees, enabling them to pay their mortgage and feed their kids, sans tax payer dollars, get a tip of my hat.

Great man, great company. He has raised more than 6 million with just the NRA round up program. Now is 121212 program is taking off:

"If you want to protect the Second Amendment for your children and grandchildren, you're going to love Project 12*12*12. All of the funds you contribute to this unique program go directly into the National Endowment for the Protection of the Second Amendment, and the Potterfield Family/MidwayUSA will match your contribution dollar for dollar – up to $100 per order.

When you are placing an order with MidwayUSA, or if you just want to make a contribution, add one or more of product #121212 to your shopping cart before checking out.

About the National Endowment for the Protection of the Second Amendment The NRA created this endowment in 1991 to help ensure the future of the Second Amendment. The contributions are never spent, but allowed to grow forever. Each year 5% of the balance, or the earnings – whichever is less, are used on legal efforts to protect the Second Amendment. Today the balance in the endowment is $8,328,114. Your NRA Round-Up contributions through MidwayUSA have gone into this endowment since January 2, 1992."

Not only do they do great things for the 2nd Amendment in general they have great prices, selection and shipping costs (very fast shipping) and CS.

For example, just this week I got a tactical light from midway in the mail that looked like it got worked over with a hammer or pick axe. The package this came in, the plastic packaging the item was in and the item itself was trashed. This thing is made of aircraft grade aluminum and was cracked, chipped and distorted. Way to go USPS. The damage was so bad it almost looked intentional. Anyway I called them, told them the problem and they sent me another one ASAP and asked me to send the damaged one back whenever I can and they will reimburse me for the shipping cost. Wow, that's great CS. They are the first place I try to find what I'm looking for these days. Can't say enough about them.

Midwayusa is my favorite website for ordering gun stuff, but personally, I'm sick of seeing the dude.

He shoots, he reloads, he gunsmiths, he supports the NRA. I get it. The guy is a gun fanatic and knows his stuff, but it all just reminds of me of one of those dos equis(?) "most interesting man in the world" beer commercials. That, or someone running for office.

!!!.......

"he can refinish your rifle back to factory new, with just a dash of cold blue"

"when he says 'and thats the way it is', it carries the weight of the law"

"his smile is so contagious, it was once investigated by the CDC"
