Is the love affair for the Sig P365 slowing down?

Are you saying the trigger on the P-320 is better than the P-365, or just the P-320 in general for your hands?
Both. The 320 has a better trigger and with the X-Carry grip frame installed on the full size 320 upper, it works much better for me. I intend to use it in 3-gun. In MD, getting a CCW is currently not likely.

The X-Carry grip is too big for me. I finally got to handle one at a gun show. Nice to know about the trigger. I would like to try a P-320.

The X-Carry grip fits me quite well. I will find on Sat at a local 3-gun match whether it really works for me or not. I am generally a 1911 guy.

The P365 hype will die down and then I will pick up a new or used one with all the bugs worked out, and at a deep discount, silly early adapters!:)

The XCarry (or VTAC) "x frame" beavertail is the only 320 I would consider purchasing as it's the only trip that remotely feels decent in my 1911 loving hands, and it does feel real nice.

Not enough to replace my Glocks nice, but nice.

Then again, staying on Sig, I only like the Elite or Legion frames for the hammer "P Series" as well, but I like them a lot.

A quick search on Gunbroker shows quite a few available. Either the demand has dropped or they have caught up to demand.

Either way, if someone's looking and you are willing to buy online, they are readily available.

One thing I am wondering about is magazine spring life.

For those looking for one, I just received an e-mail from Osage County Guns. They have them in stock for $499.99 shipped.

I've lost count of how many rounds I've put through mine, but it's easily over 1500 with 1 failure to return to battery. I had the old striker pin, which did not fail, but I replaced it after about 1100 rounds. I'm not happy having to spend $99 on the new pin, but it's become my primary carry gun and I didn't want to risk it failing at the wrong time. It's been reliable and accurate. I pocket carry it along with a couple of magazines. It's amazing that a gun this small with two magazines gives me 37 rounds of 9mm on hand. I understand that the odds of me needing the gun are small, and the odds of needing 37 rounds are immeasurably small, especially since I live about a low risk a life style as possible, but it's so easy to carry there's no reason not to.

In regards to the OP's question, I don't know that the love affair with it is slowing down as much as we're seeing a predictable pattern with a hot gun. They come out from time to time, and there'll always be people willing to pay a premium for them and others willing to sell them at inflated prices. That's the free market. There are X number of buyers for this or any other gun, and eventually the supply catches up with the demand.

I shot mine again Sunday afternoon after some .38 Super for fun. I am still impressed with it every time I shoot it.

Yep.

My P365 is an early model, but has over 1,400 rounds through it without a single malfunction. It has been flawless with RN, JHP, FMJ FN, 115gr and 124gr factory and reloads.

Very pleased with the performance. My wife's Glock 43 and G19 have had a few malfunctions over fewer total rounds, so in my case, the P365 has been more reliable then the two Glocks.
