I don't like the pull of DAO pistols. The DA/SA is for added carry safety. Yes, a long first pull, unless you have enough time to pull the hammer back, but then SA after that.
As for striker fire pistols, I just don't like the idea of a firing pin under spring tension while carried [though I know it won't fail and fire on its own]. I have had SAO pistols that are cocked and locked, but that adds the extra step of remembering to swipe the safety off [and yes, training should be a factor with it or any weapon].
Mostly, it was out of curiosity I asked the question. I'm kinda waiting out the XDs in 9mm. At least it has the grip safety added into the mix without having to remember to "take it off".
