1. Chambered in 7.62X39
2. Decent balance
3. Decent weight
4. Decent accuracy
5. Preferably wood furniture, but this isn't a priority
6. A bolt that locks open on the last shot
I had a VEPR and it was a high quality rifle, but I didn't really like the way it balanced, and if I ever had to use it, I really didn't want to pull the trigger and hear "click" when I was expecting a "bang".
