I am a mostly revolver guy, always have been.

Own my fair share of rimfires in both wheelies and pistolas, but slim on centerfire autos, even though an autoloader (one of only three I own) is what I usually wear.

Just never was willing to pony up the cash for any one of a bunch of autoloader handguns that I do, for a fact, find real appealing; always saving up my nickels and dimes for that next wheelgun, you know.

BUT.. just wondering, if any others here suffering from a bit of unrequited love, like me ?

If there was ONE and only one pistola "for me" that I do not own and maybe never will, it is the classic Browning Hi-Power 9mm. Don't really know just why, it is what it is.

How about you other "mostly revolver" guys and gals ?

1911. :)

After all these years, I finally came to the conclusion that I could probably be pretty content if all I owned were P&R S&W revolvers and 1911s.

3rd Generation S&W semiautos. I have found them to be reliable.

Much as above. The working stock in the safe is almost entirely DA S&Ws/SA Rugers, save for a 3rd Gen 3953 (DAO, sort of an honorary revolver, I guess, my "class gun") and one, lonely 1911 commander...

I could get by with just revolvers and 1911s with some 22s thrown in. But I wouldn't be happy.

Sig Sauer P226........ the only handgun I own that has never had a malfunction or misfire or jam....... that will always be my go to gun......

I'm a "revolver guy" but I like semi-auto's too.

I've got a 1911, Sigma, Smith & Wesson 39-2, CZ-83, Browning BDA 380, Ruger MK II, and my wife has a Glock 19. Oh...and a Hi-Point C-9.

All good guns.

I like lots of semi's. I have nothing against revolvers (own a few, and will likely get more as time goes on), but I do tend to enjoy autos more. My main thing I like about revolvers - from the perspective of a reloader - is that I can easily come back home with 100% of the brass I shot. With the autos, I always lose a few.

I currently only have one autoloader and it's a 1911. I do really want a Cz-75B though...

I also want a Beretta 92, but that's mostly becauce I want at least one of every service firearm of the US military.

So, no, there isn't ONE autoloader for me. But there aren't that many that I really care for.

Due to financial set backs this year, I sold all my autos except for one, my Glock 29 w/.40 conversion. Great little polymer packin' pistol.

I'll carry my revolvers with me to the poor house.

sig sauer 226/229 and a mauser 1914 pocket pistol

I would sell all the others to keep these

The 1911.

My second gun was a 1911, but it became my #1 even though I've tried many others through the years.

I started using XDs for HD and carry but went back to the 1911.

I started to like Glocks for carry and HD and then eventually went back to the 1911.

I recently tried Berettas and IMO they are the best DA/SA handguns out there, but they still don't shoot or feel as good as a 1911.

I've come to the conclusion that unless its a 1911 or set-up very closely like a 1911 (P238 or Solo for example) it just doesn't work as well for me.
