I am looking at a 91/30 ad, and I saw a couple things in the pictures that seem to suggest that it might be an ex-sniper (there wasn't any pictures of the inside of the action, so I couldn't see if any filled taps were present).
The first is a wood repair, that seems to be where a PU mount would have originally been.
I also thought that snipers were marked CH (sn) on the reciever extension. This seems to have the C at least.
Is it possible that this rifle is an ex-sniper, or am I in err.
