Is this a fair sale?

I have one rifle I would gladly take 650 for. Similar build to yours, although I do have more in mine though.
I know. If you bought just after Sandy Hook in 12 it was impossible to buy ammo or an AR. I sold a guy 80 rounds of 223 for 100 bucks. He wanted to test a new AR he bought and I did not want to sell. I told him if I even can replace it I will have to pay and can not sell for what I paid. At the time companies were asking from 50 to 100 bucks for a single magpul 30 mag. Second gen.

I have one I would gladly take 650 for also. I would be loosing money on the thing but I would be happy to part with it so I could quit messing with it. I’ve given up on improving it and frankly have no idea what else to try. No matter though. No one is going to give me that much for it.

Well crap, I just got a text from the buyer and after a few mags the thing busted in half. I can not say it was or was not abused but I am leaning it was not. This guy does not seem the type to try to torture test something. He asked if I had another receiver. I do not. But I offered him a 80 percenter I have for free and he would have to rent or buy the jig set. When I bought it I called Omni because of all the hit and miss press and asked them if they warranty the poly lower and was told if it ever breaks send it in and they will replace it with what they are in current production. I went on AT Omni site and it was a bit vague. Not sure if they are back tracking or what. I will call. I did tell the buyer I had the 80 percenter and he accecped it. I am giving it to him.

Well and he can call AT and maybe get a reinforced one to replace it. He works in a machine shop on a mill so making his lower is no issue.
