Every time I see this I get more irrate. The college adminstrators did not deserve him.

being another Jew, I cannot believe the irony of this situation. This man survived the holocaust even after being disarmed by nazi germany only to die many years later in a similar situation, because yet again he was disarmed by a governing body, which not only contributed to his final moments being spent locked in a "death chamber", but also directly contributed to his death.

I don't know if this is the right place to put this, but we need to call our respective congress members and propose a
Liviu Librescu Bill
with a basic single idea, allow students to bring air tasers,stun guns, and pepper spray to college campuses, or recieve no federal funding.


Liviu Librescu sacrificed his life to save his students, lets make sure his efforts are carried on, and we get at least some good change out of this.

I would say it was his past life experience that gave him the strength to do
what he did. I can imagine him telling the students to "Get out now!" and
then blocking the killer's way without any hesitation.

A perfect example of a hero.
