I just recently purchased a hi point c9. It was working great for a cheap pistol until recently. I also have a Px4 Storm 9mm and a ruger p92 40.
The issue with the hi point is the fact that with certain rounds such as federal or Winchester my rounds are being chambered easily and firing perfectly. I bought some military grade ammunition and fired it. It jams within 2 shots. I load 6 rounds into a clip that holds 8 so I know it isn't the tension and the ammunition fires well from my px4.
When I fire the hi point it will jam and the clip will just randomly fall out of the pistol like it is being ejected by the power of the load. Does anyone have any idea what may cause this? The rounds are being chambered vertically and I have to unjam the pistol 10 to 15 times for a single box of 50 rounds.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
