It looked so sad, all alone in the case with a herd of Taurus snubbies. I just had to adopt it. My own little J-frame airweight. I'll give it a good home with a steady diet to keep it in shape and lots of travel time. I've been looking for a 637 for about a year now and found it today. Even took it out for a little session later this evening. Pretty snappy, but manageable recoil with the +P Remington loads in 125 grain HP.

J-frame owners, what's your favorite replacement grips? Preferably in wood.

Damn!!

Those above two links are also excellent choices for different grips! I see a set that I like, and would buy tomorrow if I were not getting some CT's for the 642.. Total eye candy.

I have a set of Ahrends Grips on my L frame and they are very good grips. The fit and finish are top quality for sure. They are also less expensive than most other like Eagle and Badger. You won't go wrong with Ahrends Grips. http://www.ahrendsgripsusa.com/

Here are some other links if you deside to sepnd more money for a lesser product.
