Just picked up a Italian Vetterli Rifle that was rechambered to 6.5 carcano for WWI.
I know this is a substitute rifle for WWI that was orginally a black powder rifle.
I read don't use full power factory loads in them and only use very light loads in them.
However since this was a black powder rifle. Could you load a black powder or black powder substitute charge in a 6.5 Carcano case?
There by there would be no chance of overloading the gun.
I don't load myself. So i thought i would toss this out and see if it is feasible?
